Fill a rocks or whiskey sour glass with ice cubes.
Pour 50ml Irish whiskey and 50ml amaretto directly over the ice.
Add 120ml cranberry juice and stir gently for 10–15 seconds to combine and chill.
Garnish with a lemon slice on the rim and serve immediately.
The 50/50 split of Irish whiskey and amaretto is intentionally generous on the almond liqueur - if you prefer a more spirit-forward build, nudge the whiskey to 60ml and drop the amaretto to 40ml without losing the character of the drink.
