Our story · V. I.

Built for people who actually have a bar.

Most cocktail apps are built for people who don’t have a bar. They push you toward drinks you can’t make with the bottles you own, recipes you’ll never try, social features you don’t want. I built the opposite. An app that reads the shelf you actually have, remembers the drinks you actually made, and treats your bar as a small considered library instead of a list of missing ingredients.

About My Bar Shelf

My Bar Shelf is a home bar inventory and cocktail recommendation app. You scan the bottles you own; the app shows you what you can pour from what’s actually on your shelf, alongside a curated library of more than 370 recipes and a daily editor’s pick.

Founded in 2026 by David Nisshagen and made by Nisshagen Advisory AB in Stockholm. Available on iOS, iPadOS, and Android. The companion site at mybarshelf.com mirrors the recipe library, archives the daily Drink of the Day, and lets you view the shelf you’ve scanned in the app.

01 · Restraint

Less, but better.

A twelve-bottle bar makes a hundred drinks. Most apps push you to forty.

02 · Memory

Logged, not lost.

Every sip you log builds a private journal. Not a social feed.

03 · Craft

A beautiful object, not a feed.

The app is dark, set in serifs, made to be held. Cocktails deserve the same care as the things you drink them from.

The app · Now pouring

Pull up a stool.

On the App Store and Google Play. The bottles you own, the drinks you’ll actually make.
