Godfather

The ratio is everything here - equal parts makes for a sweeter, more dessert-like drink, but many bartenders prefer a 2:1 Scotch-to-amaretto split to let the whisky lead.

Ingredients
Scotch Whisky45 ml
Amaretto45 ml
Glassware
Old-fashioned glass
Chilled.
Method
  1. 1

    Fill an old-fashioned glass with large ice cubes.

    Pour 45ml Scotch whisky over the ice.

  3. 3

    Add 45ml amaretto.

  4. 4

    Stir gently 8–10 times to combine and lightly chill.

  5. 5

    Serve without garnish.
