Fill a highball glass with ice cubes.
Pour 40ml vodka over the ice.
Pour 80ml orange juice over the vodka.
Gently pour 20ml crème de banane over the back of a bar spoon to float it on top of the orange juice.
Slowly pour 15ml grenadine down the inside edge of the glass so it sinks to the bottom, creating a layered sunset gradient.
Garnish with an orange slice and a fresh strawberry on the rim. Serve without stirring to preserve the layers.
The layering works because of density differences - grenadine is the heaviest and sinks, while crème de banane, poured gently over a spoon, floats above the juice. Never stir before serving; let the guest break the gradient themselves for the full theatrical effect.
