Add 45ml spiced rum, 15ml grenadine, 120ml orange juice, and 30ml sour mix to a blender.
Add approximately 1 cup (240ml) of ice.
Blend on high until completely smooth and slushy.
Pour into a hurricane glass.
Garnish with an orange slice and cherry flag.
Increase the sour mix to 30ml - the original 5ml is negligible against 120ml of OJ and adds no meaningful balance. The extra tartness sharpens the creamsicle contrast and keeps the drink from going cloying.
