A Day at the Beach

Pour the grenadine last and over the back of a bar spoon to slow its descent - this keeps the layers distinct and delivers the signature sunset effect right up until the first stir.

Ingredients
Coconut Rum30 ml
Amaretto30 ml
Orange Juice120 ml
Grenadine15 ml
Pineapple Wedge
Strawberry
Glassware
Highball glass
Chilled.
Method

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add coconut rum, amaretto, and orange juice.

    Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.

    Fill a highball glass with fresh ice and strain the mixture over it.

    Slowly pour grenadine over the back of a bar spoon so it sinks to the bottom, creating a layered sunset effect.

    Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a fresh strawberry on the rim. Serve immediately.
