From the Bartender

The Last Word is a rare equal-parts cocktail where no single ingredient dominates - the key is using exactly equal measures and freshly squeezed lime juice, as bottled juice will throw off the delicate balance. Originally mixed at the Detroit Athletic Club around 1916, it was revived by Murray Stenson at Seattle's Zig Zag Café in the early 2000s, sparking the modern craft cocktail renaissance.
