Pre-warm a heatproof glass or mug by filling it with hot water for 30 seconds, then discard the water.
Pour 40ml Irish whiskey and 80ml Baileys Irish Cream into the warmed glass.
Stir gently to combine.
Top with 380ml of freshly brewed hot coffee.
Serve immediately.
Pre-warming the glass is essential - a cold mug will cause the Baileys to curdle when it meets the hot coffee, ruining both texture and appearance.
