B-52

The key to clean layers is density: Kahlúa is heaviest, Baileys sits in the middle, and Grand Marnier floats on top - always pour in this order and never skip the inverted spoon technique.

Ingredients
Kahlua
Baileys Irish Cream
Grand Marnier
Glassware
Shot glass
Chilled.
Method
  1. 1

Pour the Kahlúa into the bottom of a shot glass.

  2. 2

Hold a bar spoon upside down over the glass, touching the inside rim, and slowly pour the Baileys Irish Cream over the back of the spoon to float it on top of the Kahlúa.

  3. 3

Repeat with the Grand Marnier, again pouring slowly over the back of the spoon to create a clean third layer.

  4. 4

Serve immediately without stirring to preserve the distinct layers.
