From the Bartender

Recorded in Jerry Thomas's 1862 Bar-Tender's Guide and drunk in America long before that, originally with rum and hard cider. Cloudy unfiltered cider is what makes it; clear apple juice turns it thin and sugary.

Cablegram
Bourbon Whiskey

Cablegram

Lemon and sugar around a soft bourbon centre, then dry ginger stretching it out — a sour that keeps going instead of finishing in three sips.

Presbyterian
Bourbon Whiskey

Presbyterian

Half the sweetness of a whiskey-ginger with all of the spice, the soda thinning it into something genuinely refreshing rather than merely mixed.

Seven and Seven
Canadian Blended Whisky

Seven and Seven

Light, sweet and citric, with the whisky's soft grain sitting just far enough forward to remind you it is there — undemanding by design.

Horsefeather
Rye Whiskey

Horsefeather

Ginger heat and rye pepper arriving at the same time, with the lemon keeping it tight and the Angostura adding a clove-and-bark note across the top.
