Add vodka, fresh lemon juice, crème de cassis, and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake hard for 10–12 seconds.
Fill a tall tumbler glass with fresh ice.
Strain the shaken mixture into the glass over the ice.
Top up with sparkling wine, pouring slowly down the side of the glass to preserve the fizz.
Garnish with fresh blackberries and a lemon slice on the rim.
Created by legendary London bartender Dick Bradsell in the 1980s, the Russian Spring Punch is a riff on the French 75 structure - shake the base, strain over ice, and top with sparkling wine. Straining into the glass before topping ensures the fizz stays lively and the drink remains layered and visually striking.
My Bar Shelf reads your shelf and shows you every cocktail you can make from what you already own, including Russian Spring Punch.
