Lynchburg Lemonade

The Lynchburg Lemonade was reportedly created in the 1980s at a bar near the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee - Jack Daniel's later popularized it nationally through marketing campaigns, making it one of the few brand-born cocktails to achieve genuine classic status.

Ingredients
Tennessee whiskey40 ml
Triple sec liqueur25 ml
Fresh lemon juice25 ml
Lemon-lime soda120 ml
Lemon slice
Glassware
Collins glass
Chilled.
Method

    Chill a Collins glass in the freezer or fill with ice water and set aside.

    Discard the ice water and fill the glass generously with fresh ice.

    Add 40ml Tennessee whiskey, 25ml triple sec, and 25ml fresh lemon juice directly into the glass.

    Top with 120ml lemon-lime soda and stir gently once to combine without losing carbonation.

    Garnish with a lemon slice on the rim and serve immediately.
