Kentucky Buck

This cocktail is adapted from a recipe created in 2009 by Erick Castro at Bourbon & Branch in San Francisco, USA.

Ingredients
Strawberry
Bourbon whiskey60 ml
Lemon juice22.5 ml
Rich sugar syrup7.5 ml
Angostura Aromatic Bitters4 dashes
Thomas Henry Ginger Beer
Glassware
Collins glass
Chilled.
Method
  1. 1

    Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS. Prepare garnish of lemon slice wheel and strawberry slice. MUDDLE 1 fresh strawberry in the base of a shaker. Add bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and Angostura Aromatic Bitters. SHAKE with ice. FINE STRAIN into an ice-filled glass. TOP with ginger beer and briefly stir. Garnish with lemon and strawberry slices.
