From the Bartender

The Charlie Chaplin is a true equal-parts classic, believed to have been created at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York during the early 20th century in honour of the silent film icon. The equal-parts ratio is its defining virtue - resist the urge to adjust, as the balance between sweet, fruity, and sour is precisely the point.
