Brandy Cobbler

The cobbler is one of America's oldest cocktail categories, popularized in the 1830s and famously praised by Charles Dickens - the crushed ice was considered so novel at the time that it was a key part of the drink's appeal.

Ingredients
Simple Syrup10 ml
Club Soda30 ml
Brandy60 ml
Orange Slice
Lemon Slice
Maraschino Cherry
Glassware
Old-fashioned glass
Chilled.
Method

    Add simple syrup to an old-fashioned glass.

    Add club soda and stir briefly to combine.

  3. 3

    Fill the glass almost to the rim with crushed ice.

    Pour in the brandy and stir gently to integrate.

    Garnish with an orange slice, a lemon slice, and a maraschino cherry.

    Serve with a straw.
