From the Bartender

Created by Richard Boccato at Little Branch in New York around 2007. It is the Aviation's more extroverted relative: same violet liqueur, none of the restraint. If you bought crème de violette for one Aviation and never opened it again, this is the drink that uses it up.

Aviation
Gin

Aviation

Delicately floral and citrusy with the perfumed essence of violette dancing above bright lemon tartness, this elegant cocktail offers a subtly sweet, botanical complexity that finishes dry and refreshingly light with hints of cherry almond from the maraschino.

Maiden's Prayer
London Dry Gin

Maiden's Prayer

Double-citrus and unapologetic about it — orange sweetness carried by the liqueur, lemon keeping it dry, botanicals surfacing late.

Fine and Dandy
London Dry Gin

Fine and Dandy

Bright orange-peel sweetness over a firm juniper spine, lemon doing the cutting, and a whisper of clove and bark from the single dash of bitters.

Corpse Reviver No. 2
Gin

Corpse Reviver No. 2

Bright and citrusy with a silky floral backbone from the Lillet, balanced by the herbal warmth of gin and a seductive whisper of anise from the absinthe rinse. Bracingly refreshing with a clean, dry finish.
