Run a lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass and dip it in salt to create a half-salt rim.
Fill the glass with ice cubes.
Pour in the tequila and fresh lime juice.
Top with pink grapefruit soda and stir gently once or twice to combine.
Garnish with a lime slice on the rim.
The Paloma outsells the Margarita in Mexico by a wide margin - a fact most bartenders outside the country find surprising. Using a quality 100% agave blanco and a good pink grapefruit soda (Jarritos or Fever-Tree work beautifully) makes all the difference.
My Bar Shelf reads your shelf and shows you every cocktail you can make from what you already own, including Paloma.
