Method

Add vodka, triple sec, and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice.

Shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds until well chilled.

Double-strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim and serve immediately.

Equal-parts ratios make this cocktail forgiving and fast to batch - simply scale up the recipe and shake to order. For a sharper edge, swap triple sec for Cointreau, which adds a cleaner orange note and slightly higher proof.
