CLASSIC · FINO SHERRY

Coronation Cocktail

The Coronation is one of several early 20th-century sherry-vermouth stirred cocktails that predate the modern aperitivo revival - using fino sherry in place of a base spirit keeps the ABV low and the palate fresh, making it an ideal before-dinner drink.

Chill your coupette well in advance; this cocktail has no citrus to mask temperature, so a warm glass will expose every flaw.
