From the Bartender

The Casa Blanca is believed to have originated at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana during the pre-Prohibition era, where bartenders stretched the classic Daiquiri formula with maraschino and triple sec to add complexity. The combination of two liqueurs demands restraint - keep each at 8ml or the rum backbone will be overwhelmed.
