Rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with a lime wedge and dip it in kosher salt. Set aside.
Add 60g fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced) to a shaker and muddle thoroughly until fully broken down into a smooth pulp.
Add 45ml blanco tequila, 22ml triple sec, and 22ml fresh lime juice to the shaker.
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds.
Double-strain through a fine mesh strainer into the prepared salt-rimmed cocktail glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with a fresh strawberry on the rim and serve immediately.
Double-straining is essential here - it removes strawberry seeds and pulp for a silky-smooth texture. For an elevated version, swap plain triple sec for Cointreau and add a barspoon of agave syrup if your strawberries are underripe.
